What causes AIDS: An HIV infected person has sex with a person who is not infected. Or, an HIV infected person shares a needle with a person who is not infected.

The spread of HIV could have been stopped if the infected were isolated from those who are not infected. Chains of transmission should have been traced. Any people who knew they were infected who had sex with the uninfected should have been isolated from society. This could have been done by creating isolated communities of HIV positive on islands that would have all the amenities of civilization.

This isn't quite true. Heterosexual sex is far less likely to transmit HIV than homosexual sex for various reasons, which is why AIDS hasn't really spread to the heterosexual population they way they predicted it would in the early 1980's.

While the kind of sex acts performed by homosexual men is, yes, more likely to spread HIV the more important reason HIV has spread more among homosexual men is that they have more sex partners. Each sex act has some chance of causing HIV to be transmitted. But also the large number of partners increases the number of other STDs that the men have and that is also thought to increase the chance of spread by causing a higher frequency of open sores.

But the bottom line is that if infected people were not having sex with non-infected people HIV would not be spreading as much.

Mac Diva seems to be claiming that conservative culture, not politics, leads to increased AIDs rates. Based on what was selectively underlined anyway. Of course, if we were working with the same underlying text we would probably focus on the higher percentage of black population (20% in the south, and accounts for over half of all the AIDs cases there). In fact I find it interesting that MD would excerpt something with such clear racial implications...

Homosexuals tend to be cheap shooters. They can invert whatever is said, and make it sound wrong, and they sound right. They succeed only through the userpation of words. As all true "liberals" (victims), they make all the key "sell" words of the language serve their purposes. Attorneys help their definitions become validated. Disagree with a homosexual's use of the words love, family, equality, or sex, and you'll be sued.

It seems pretty reasonable that since AIDS is most prevalent in African populations around the world(for a variety of reasons, some disputed, differences in sexual behavoir. Some not, like differences in receptor proteins, well, I guess all the reasons are disputed. But the reality is pretty certain: people who seem to be Africans are much more likely to have AIDS than people who are not African.
Granted, JDT is a shit, but what did he link to that was so bad he needs to be permabanned.
Also, I think Diva was stealing Sailors article about how blindness to racial differences kill. She's pretty obsessed with Gene Expression and Sailor,so I think she might have copied the idea.
