Hello, idolators and atheists!! I am duende, and I guess Razib thought this place needed the soothing
presence of a lady. Either that or he thought I could contribute. Either way, I'm an English undergrad at
a D.C. university, and prefer to remain anonymous for a variety of reasons, but largely because of
Marxist/ferminist English Dept. politics. If you are curious about me, I refer you to what googlism says

That's. . .um. . .interesting.
Glad to see you up on the big Screen, Duende. I think you should add your real name. The Marxists
shouldn't mind, afterall GnXp is all about 'celebrating diversity'; that's a respectable tranzi activity, right?
Have you been over to Andrew Sullivan's blog lately? He's been trying to whip up some Lott-esque furor
on 'race realist' John Derbyshire. It's pretty ugly.
(I wouldn't be at all suprised if Sailer has another go at ol' Andrew for it either)
Posted by: Jason Malloy at January 6, 2003 12:38 PMFor now, my real name will remain veiled. I've gotten manipulating the feminazis down to an art, and I
don't wanna mess that up. Maybe when I graduate, but no promises.
Hola duende! I didn't realize you, too, were a chick. I was just thinking that this place is hopelessly
machismoed out.
Steelers suck.
Posted by: Diana at January 6, 2003 01:29 PMduende, welcome. This blog needs an artistic voice. I would like to ask you why you think there is a such
a strong tendency in the humanities to embrace such irrational politics?
Duende wouldn't happen to be single, would she? ;)
Posted by: Loweeel at January 6, 2003 01:48 PMwtf??? you're a chick??? I didn't suspect that from your postings and usually I'm good at picking these
things.
diana, do you want your IP to be banned??? :)
actually-you can keep saying "steeler suck" until they are out of the playoffs (if-gods willing they will win
it all!). but once they lose-well, then it will have a different bite alltogether.
Go Raiders!
