i don't know of any equivalent site. the nordish site is a bit out of control though-amusing, but a bit old-fashioned in its view of the world....

although I do think that good looking people are more pleasing to look at, i don't think their attractiveness comes from their race. it just depends on whether they have symmetrical features, a good personality, and a chic fashion sense. some of you guys are a little preoccupied.

If black women are at the bottom of the beauty scale then how did african americans get so much white genes in them to begin with. The white gene flow was from the white man into the black population via the black women during the slave era. Why would the owner choose to be with an enslaved african women instead of his white wife if black women were considered unattractive. He sure was not forced to be with a black women. Sometimes you have to pay attention to what people do not what they say.

I think it's crazy that black nba players choose white women over black women,or very light skinned black women.To me nba stands for"no black woman aloud".Tracy McGrady is my favorite basketball player,something tells me his fiancee'is a white woman.Just like Kobe bitch ass!

Okay for the ignorant ass person that said white men don't marry dark black women, that's not true at all. And if you followed your statistics very closely or even opened up the blinders around your head, you'd see that. True, the number of white men that marry black woomen is not as high as the number of black men that marry white women, but trust me it's getting there. Fact: If you knew your facts, the MAJORITY of white men that marry black women, marry AFRICAN AMERICAN women, not mixed!!! Notice i said the majority, not all. The white men that desire black women, choose ones that are brown skinned or dark. I know this for a fact because I've lived in many parts of this country and i see a lot of what goes on in society. Also right now i reside in Madison, Wisconsin. In this city 90% of black people are from Chicago. The majority of the black men date and marry black women, but the young ones also date white girls too. But also a LOT of white boys up here like black women. I myself am a black 18 year old female and my boyfriend is white. the majority of his friends have black girlfriends that are way darker than me. I'm like caramel colored , almost what you'd call "high yellow". You know what my b/f said to me? Damn you're light, we need to get a tan on this!! So think before you speak. I have found from years of observation, white men really want to date Black women. We Black women do not want to date outside our race. Older fair skinned Blacks received their "whiteness", because their grandmothers were brutally raped by white southern men. That was the only way years ago. My great grandmother, an African slave was forced into a sexual relationship with her white owner. My grandmother was the result. Since the offspring was fair skinned, the racist father refused to let her marry a slave. He gave a good size dowery of land to an Native American to marry her. I am sure he is turning over in his grave due to the fact all of his grandchildren all married dark, dark skinned African-Americans. My grandmother also told me as a child it is honorable to have black skin, light skin, some poor mother was raped.

I'm not sure what the argument is all about. It's obvious that you can't put everyone in the same bag when it comes to what motivates people when it comes to so called "interracial" relationships.

For some black males, there is indeed an acceptance of the racist myth that white women are more attractive than black and other non white women.(a subconscious hatred of their own mothers in many cases) It's kind of funny because most of these same males are the SAME ones that want to bitch and complain when they feel that they've been judged or treated differently because of the color of their skin and features. Funny...

It's also true that white European men (and a growing number of white American men) are saying good-bye to the racist and limited "barbie" ideal of beauty and OPENLY dating and Marrying black women.

I myself am a multi-generationaly mixed light-skinned black female (Vanessa Williams/Halle Berry type) who is happily married to a handsome and professional white German man.

Times are not how they were in the past, where white men lived "double lives" openly supporting the status quo and secretly desiring black women. Everything is up front these days and many people in society have a problem with it. That's why the focos remains on the dynamics of bm/wf relationships, all the while pretending that wm/bf relationships do not and did not exist.(All the while knowing they did and DO)

Plenty of other black women both celebrites and non, are finally waking up to the fact that they do not have to limit themselves to black males. And what a blessing that is.(smile)

Blacks males have much higher rates than white and other men of abondaning their children (70% out of wedlock birthrate) being involved with the criminal justice system, AIDS, drug use, spousal abuse, and the list goes on as we all know...

So, to sum things up, it is quite clear why more and more black & biracial daughters of black & white mothers are choosing white men over black men these days.(At least that's what I'm seeing in my area of the woods)

My husband and I will be starting our family later this year, and if we're blessed with a daughter, I pray to GOD she'll make the same choice I made and marry white.
