Garrett Hardin (April 21, 1915 - Sep. 14, 2003)
The brilliant and highly regarded ecologist, environmentalist, taboo stalker, immigration and population critic, and abortion-rights advocate (and obvious intellectual non-conformist) died on Sunday, along with his wife of an apparent double-suicide. (Via MetaFilter)
