Prop 54

The Racial Privacy Initiative lost. Just watched Cruz Bustamante "concede"-but mostly he was crowing that Prop 54 seems to have fallen. Interestingly, he was trumping the health risks posed by not having racial data....

Do you think he recognizes the irony of admitting to a postion he "should" disagree with (health differences based on "racial" group) to advance something he agrees with (letting the government take racial data for social-engineering), or do you think (as I do) that he is just not that intelligent.

And of course. health data was specifically carved out as an exception in prop. 54, so he was being even more disingenous...

Scott: I think he is so used to the double-speak of his Latino Supremacist days in college (and today?) that this really doesn't fase him. He's aware of the irony, but just doesn't care.
