I’m going to look at the IE issues again. Might even rework the tags underlying the presentation to make things simpler. If you are having a problem with formatting, please tell me what, and the browser (including version) & OS, in the comments.
I suspect that IE6 can’t do what (I think) you want to do, which is to display the left side first, and then have it reformat itself, according to the width of the window, when you display the right side at a fixed width. I think you have to either set the left side at a fixed width or display the right side first.
I’m running XP Pro SP3 with IE7. Posts with illustrations show the illustration to the left of the text but there are scrolls for left and right and up and down so I can read the text. Previously, illustrations didn’t push text off to the right. The September archive with illustrations reads just fine in my browser with no scrolls and the text wrapping on the right side at the side bar as it should.
At IE 6.0, the blog continues almost impossibel to read.
XP Version 5.1, IE 6, the post text is running under the grey side bar.
But I just open in Chrome and it looks fine.

XP Pro, v 5.1, IE 7 – no problem. Chrome – no problem. Firefox, v2 – no problem.
I played with window size in all three and still encountered no problems.

The problem with wrapping on the right side first appears with a post on Nov 23.
probably has to do with image width in a post. i didn’t change the format of the blog at all.
You might want to use ie4osx to debug natively in a Mac environment:

The Grey Curtain of Doom has gone. This IE6 user is pleased.
