That’s important. GNXP could turn into an archive site, as I always imagined it would at some point, and still play a vital role in the information ecology.”

A word of caution: The ‘background hits’ should not be taken for granted in the long run; if the site goes into hibernation at some point in the future, there’s a risk that the archived posts will receive much less traffic than they do now. AFAIK, google punishes ‘no-new-stuff’ sites quite hard.
