Sex hormones & genes
Interesting to see the numbers on this. Athletes sometimes like to argue about the role of genetics in success, especially as it relates to the ability to build muscle. This gives us some real numbers to drag into those arguments.
She So Hot
This also explains why repulsive nerds do so well in the cognitively demanding fields of math and science: http://www.corrupt.org/news/the_secret_of_the_nerd
So... research-oriented professors have one more excuse to avoid teaching freshman survey classes... "There are dozens of hot young girls there and they would harm my important and cognitively demanding research work!"
Risk, personality and testosterone
Ah, my favorite hormone!
I remember some other research on investment bankers and testosterone levels. The high-test guys did better overall, and especially on high trading volume days. This was maybe a year ago.

Breeding a better athlete
Today's elite athletes are also much more elite and specialized than those in 1900, so they resemble the average person far less in many traits other than height. If you look at old photos from the Olympics the weightlifters and swimmers will look pretty much alike. In Beijing you can see enormous differences between the two groups even in things like skull shape which shouldn't matter for either sport.
With top female athletes becoming more athletic (via PEDs or otherwise) I'm sure we are seeing a lot more assortative mating, too. I mean, big strong girls want guys who will make them feel delicate and feminine. If you're a female hammer thrower then not only do you spend most of your time around track and field athletes and coaches, you also probably won't want any average-sized average-shaped guy. Although I remember seeing a photo of Betty Heidler with a skinny boyfriend, I remember it precisely because it was such a glaring exception.

Fat and tuberculosis
I don't know about TB, but I'm a naturally skinny guy who decided to stop being skinny and worked very hard to gain mass. Being sick with stupid little things like a bad cold or food poisoning sure is a lot less unpleasant when you're carrying more fat.
I don't know why - maybe having plenty of energy stored around your stomach and love handles to survive for a few days lets you be less lethargic and weak than when you don't have much and have to start consuming muscle tissue? Intuitively it makes sense, though I don't know what medical science says.

The Two Cultures, and some data on the public’s response
There is a huge divide looking at it from at least one angle. If your approach to the arts is informed by science, art-consumers and other artists think you're a total weirdo. See this post of mine from yesterday for an example - http://www.corrupt.org/news/better_living_through_science_better_music_through_endocrinology - artists in general just don't think and operate like that, or anything even remotely close to that.
Of course if your approach to the arts is informed by economics, then you're just plain evil. Ha.

Sex & choice
Rob, I guess from my point of view taking women out on dates and talking to them has always had the express purpose of increasing the odds of having sex. These guys really do seem to think all dates are "date-rape" like as long as the goal is to get laid, even when there's no deception involved. An interesting viewpoint... reminds me of the "all heterosexual sex is rape" thing.
It's also interesting that extremely fat people are much less appealing than 12-year-olds and threesomes with men. Ouch.
I'm reminded of Heather Mac Donald's article on the campus rape industry (http://www.city-journal.org/2008/18_1_campus_rape.html) - I guess those are the moral norms they are working under... Still, it seems utterly absurd to a guy my age, especially when just looking at the table you posted.
I rarely take girls to nice restaurants because I don't want them to think I'm too nice. It's difficult to imagine someone else avoiding the same thing because "it's morally wrong".

Taking a woman to a fancy restaurant is or telling you you love her immoral date-rape behavior now? I looked at the paper, too, and these guys do seem to seriously and repeatedly refer to it as "morally questionable behavior", so it's not just an awkward label on the table.
If telling a girl you love her is morally questionable, these guys must have a pretty high standard of morality. Or something.

Measuring whether an artist is under- or over-valued
Interesting, but I see a problem with your metric. It seriously overvalues someone like Schoenberg, not because his music is unlistenable (though most of it is), but because his encyclopedia entries are inflated by the importance of all the words he wrote about music, which really were a more significant contribution than his actual compositions.
Also, did you mean Adriaan Willaert, not Anton?

Guess which surnames died out in pre-industrial England?
Checking in the GSS to see if a similar thing might be happening today, those who have been arrested or charged with crime have on average slightly fewer children (by 0.28) than those never arrested or charged. I guess crime doesn't pay, at least not reproductively speaking.
Right & wrong is not about religion
Muslims rank second as the most science-loving denomination? Is that some peculiarity of the American Muslim population, or indicative of the followers of Islam in general?
The costs of IVF
In a way this is just like some of the proposals I've heard from IQ-loving eugenicists. They similarly like one thing and its positive effects, so they completely forget or neglect all associated downsides. They really should read Greg Cochran's overclocking hypothesis. I'd say they "should go to a Star Trek convention and ask themselves if these are the people they want breeding", but I worry that the people proposing these things already regularly attend such conventions.
I like Ron Guhname's recent suggestion to "Drop the idea that Junior needs you that much." Actually, I should post about this at Corrupt... we've got too many nerdy would-be-eugenicists there.

Do you like the sound of your own voice?
A broad or round face is not necessarily a babyface, however. Think of broad faces with small eyes and heavy jaws. Here's a nice collage of the 105 kg+ weightlifters from the most recent Olympics:

These guys are not-so-lean which makes them look softer but still I'd describe most as round non-baby faces. The 105 kg or 94 kg lifters would be even better examples but I couldn't find photos which are nearly as funny.
