Cornell Editorial on Affirmative Action
They will always find a way to make a living or discover something if they need to. BUT really talented people should be in the company of equally talented people.
So you need to train the average for skills like medical, accounting, engineering, veterinary professions, (etc) but when it comes to the professions that require original concepts like programming and other science related subjects, you need to gather all Mensa-like people to generate good results.
So its okay to use admission quota on the ordinary courses. But for courses that require original thinking, let the losers fall off the bucket. Imagination is much more important than education so says Einstein.
Can you measure the ability to imagine in standardized IQ tests?

Have one "leader" say - Hey, lets hate this guy because Bailey is our guy.. see the comments above... Need I say more?
You dont understand it? really? What if someone says blondes are especially suited to prostitution?
He has an agenda, of course, to improve his life I suppose.
I guess youre mad because Michael Bailey is your hero? And you just cant fathom the idea that a non white guy is criticizing him?
Its just sickening that gnxp readers ,supposedly a smart group of people ........

Churchill’s Jewish Ancestry – Not!
Next thing we will read, magdalene gave birth to the ancestors of all the great /popular men. One by one, the history is being rewritten to feed the ego of some.
Why Religion?
Because tiny, non-sentient charged particles have assembled themselves randomly, over billions of years of chaotic collisions, into sentient beings capable of observing that their own existence is so ridiculously unlikely, yet so unfathomably complex, that the only way existence makes any sense is if a bearded guy on a throne lives in the sky and spends his time forging his image onto tortillas and making statues cry.
Makes sense to me.
A penny for your hypothesis
"Aussie" I think is the 'correct slang'.
Ethnic Segregation in Britain: Spin or Substance?
The idea being that the higher the rate of marriage outside of a group, the more that group could be said to be melting into the melting pot.
Not sure how to factor religion into it though (ie not being allowed to marry outside the religion).
Profile of Salafi jihadists….
It sounds to me that they might have moved from group-to-group until they found one that resonated with their world view. Identifying the pitstops on the journey might give some hints about the groups that need to be infiltrated.
No modernity please!
"But the key probably lies with India, whose attitude they describe as “unhelpful”. "
Bhutan boots out nepali economic migrants and the UNHRC riff raff blasts out its usual phrases, how typical.
GNXP political orientation?
"The idea of being portrayed as a vector in a nineteen dimensional space strikes me as very cool..."
I think it defeats the purpose of the exercise, the map aims to simplify how one sees oneself in political space. I had thought about a z-axis for some other points of affiliation, but a 3 dimension model seems too complicated looking for useful comparisons. A higher dimensional model would just cause braindamage if you saw it. such as this one.. :) http://pw1.netcom.com/~hjsmith/WireFrame4/tesseract.html
Racial identity and cognitive dissonance
Well he was skilled enough in the IQ department to command the imaginations and personalities of these people. 120 is a bit low I think..

Enter the godless hordes
This article is a bit odd, ah because it says the cultural left, unable to make judgements in its state cannot denounce racism? Does this just means it cannot denounce the racism of other civilisations? It seems thier hostility to traditional Western culture means they denounce racism the whole time to us to quicken the death of the evil western tradition. This applies also to their hatred of devout Christians and tolerance of devout muslims (of which a small subset is far more extreme and empowered then any christian nutjobs). Is there a good example of the thinking this article describes because I just dont get it.

“Run-Away Science”?
what fashion models?
Democracy – ain’t it grand?
Yeah well im sure any of the statements people like you or any of the GNXP crowd would forward would appear loony too, especially with the media of today. Winston Churchill had some quote like, "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter". The second guy you quote there might be a genuine looney, but the first is more like the "average" man on the street.
Frankly im sick of centrists and big-tent people, mediocre big-tent goverments governing sucks in the same way and for the same reasons as for example large canteens cooking sucks, catering for everyone leaves no specialisation just blandness, the same could be said for schools and kids educations.

The stuff he says about game theory and religion kinda wakes up the connection again in my mind. Religion as a evolutionary strategy etc..
