What’s going on? Pretty busy with life right now. Cleaning up the house for Easter.
I checked out The Anglo-Saxon World, and to my confusion it turns out be a “coffee table book.” Its scholarly standards are high, but the illustrations and the nature of the paper makes it heavy and cumbersome. I have no idea what the motivations here were, though I suppose the authors were aiming at a non-academic audience.
Also, Derek Roff’s Modeling Evolution: An Introduction to Numerical Methods arrived in the mail. It is nota coffee table book.
